Finding graffiti on your Grand Rapids area commercial building isn’t an ideal situation. Maintaining the outside appearance of your business is important for attracting customers! Fortunately, SERVPRO of North East Grand Rapids has you covered! One of our favorite techniques for graffiti removal is soda blasting. According to raptorblastor.com, “Soda blasting is a form of abrasive blasting that uses sodium bicarbonate as an abrasive media. The soda is propelled using compressed air or water to blast a surface.” To put it in simpler terms, sodium bicarbonate, more commonly known as baking soda, is put into an air compressor and is used to blast away unwanted graffiti. Not only can soda blasting remove graffiti, it can also be used to get rid of soot damage following a fire.
